A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer, three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken. Ecclesiastes 4:12 NLT. The TriCord Journal is a tool that the men use for guidance in their small accountability group meetings and for journaling during the week between meetings. The purpose of the meeting is to give encouragement, support and accountability, in an atmosphere of confidentiality, through trusting relationships with other men. Each man has his own TriCord Journal. Included in Section Two of the Journal are complete guidelines for the TriCord meetings. Also included, Journaling My Journey is a reminder to spend time with God in His Word and in prayer every day. In section three, there is a complete outline of the Twelve Characteristics of a Godly Man – As outlined in the full Mentoring His Way curriculum – which are the bases for the accountability questions asked during the week and at the meetings. There are also several pages included to maintain prayer list, as well as suggestions for Scripture verses to memorize. These are tools to help each man in the TriCord accomplish his purpose of becoming more Christ-like.
